Light Bulb = Flickering

My friend Kati has bestowed on me the honor to sew her wedding dress. Although I have zero experience in the wedding department, I have sewn dresses and other clothing items. I have a plan and I hope it all comes together in time for her vintage inspired wedding in May of 2012. We've discussed the basics and this is what we've come up with thus far...

*She wants an ivory gown because white does not do her fair skin justice!
*The gown will have her 3 favorite elements, buttons, lace and flowers
*She wants a mermaid style to compliment her curves
*The gown must also have a small to medium train
*She has a budget of $500.00 maximum

We plan to meet at Coffee Talk in Clare next week to figure out the rest of the details. I have a sketch pad so that we can plan out the final design, a measuring tape so I can adjust my dress form to her size, and fabric samples that I ordered online.
